We cover a wide range of categories, and you also have the option of posting tasks for freelancers to successfully bid & complete, or the option of requesting custom quotes from specific freelancers for their services.

1. Find a service that you need OR post a task

Compare prices, portfolios, delivery time, and community recommendations in order to find a freelancer that best suits your needs. If you have a specific question, simply send them an enquiry, or if you have a specific need, request a custom quote. Alternatively, post a task you need done, including the budget and timeframe, and freelancers will bid for your acceptance.

2. Supply your brief

Be as detailed as possible so the freelancer can provide you with the quality service that you are expecting. Upon successful payment, the freelancer is notified immediately via our internal messaging system, email and SMS. Your payment is held securely and only released until you confirm that the service is performed to your satisfaction.

3. Manage transaction

Exchange files and feedback with the freelancer via the built-in conversation and transaction management system. The freelancer will deliver the service within a specified time frame.

4. Approve service delivered

Once you are happy with the service performed, you can mark the transaction complete, and we’ll release the funds to the freelancer. Help the community by leaving a feedback for the freelancer.


Freelancers

1. Post your service OR bid to complete a task

Post a service offer in accordance with your skills. Be as specific as possible so your customers will know exactly what they are getting for the money they are paying. Alternatively, keep an eye out for tasks and if one interests you, bid on it by sending an offer to the requester for acceptance.

2. Communicate promptly

Once your service is sold, you will be notified immediately via our internal messaging system, email, and mobile SMS (please ensure you have added a valid Australian mobile number to your account). Respond to customer enquiries within a reasonable time. Good communication is a prerequisite for successful cooperation.

3. Complete the job and get paid

Once the job is marked as delivered, and the buyer marks it as complete, payment will be released to your Skill Post balance minus any fees depending on your freelancer level. You will have the option to withdraw your balance to your nominated PayPal or bank account anytime. Processing times will take 1-2 days for the Paypal option or 3-5 days for the bank account option. Alternatively, you can use the balance to buy other services.

4. Build your reputation

Make sure you treat all of your customers the same, and try to provide the best possible service regardless of the transaction value. Satisfied customers will recommend you to their friends.
